Children’s language and communication skills develop in a social environment with adults who are sensitive to their needs. Turn-taking games and role plays, help in the development of reciprocal responding, an essential basis for conversation.
Language is not only used for communicating meaning, feelings and intention, for conveying instructions and responses, but is also the first step to opening doors to the world, the children’s horizons and other cultures. It allows us to ask and answer questions and allows us to communicate about ourselves, our friends and our families.
The drive to communicate is a powerful motivation for language learning and we will base our SpeaKidz activities around this.

Immersive language learning is a very easy way to develop children’s language skills. We want to give children a fun engaging space after school, where they can create, explore, learn through a combination of educational and creative projects and playtime, children will automatically maintain, develop and become more and more confident in their existing language skills.
We will have regular kids conferences where the children will be included in the planning of future activities and projects.
